Well, Dua Lipa is one hell of an artist. She doesn’t need to prove herself anymore and I don’t think anyone questions how talented she is.
Dua Lipa has had some of the most amazing songs ever. She caught global attention with ‘New Rules’ which was my favorite song by her until she released ‘Houdini’ on 10th November 2023.
I think that Houdini might just be the best song released in 2023.

Houdini, what I loved about it was it was such a play on words in the sense of that, I think the song and its meaning is about knowing your worth, knowing when its the right to stay and also knowing when its a good to leave and I think a lot of that comes from knowing yourself, understanding what you like, what you deserve, what you need, what you you know the way that you want to, I don’t know be be loved I guess or whatever is for each person and Houdini is kind of that metaphor of like having the confidence to be like actually this doesn’t suit me anymore so I’m just gonna bounce and that’s ok and having kind of a real kind of gentleness in a way towards yourself to be able to make that decision. So that was Houdini and the concept and the idea behind it.
