Now, a lot of people are aware of the benefits of music in our life. Music helps to reduce stress, decrease anxiety etc. But what a lot of people are not aware about is the affect that music has on our subconscious mind. Now, subconscious mind is a very interesting topic for the simple fact that it controls literally 90% of our life. Well, just ignore how I arrived at the number, I guess you get the point. What I mean to say is that the subconscious mind plays a huge role in one’s life which I believe most people would already agree with.
The subconscious mind is recording everything that you are listening to. Whatever is impressed on the subconscious mind is going to be experienced in the outer reality that we experience. Thus, the messages in the music are being absorbed by the mind and we must ensure that we are feeding the mind with the right messages.
The thing is that the music you listen to can impact you in ways that you wouldn’t believe is possible. If you listen to depressing music about heartbreaks or anger then you are very likely to manifest that into reality. So, I would suggest avoid listening to music that is related to heartbreaks or betrayal. Moreover, if you listen to a particular artist for a long time then you will pick up traits or mannerisms that the artist is promoting in the music video or through his audio.
You can also get a fair idea of your vibration, when you pay attention to the kind of music you usually listen to. When I was going through difficult times, I would usually listen to Skillet or other rock bands that produced music based on how tough life was etc etc. At one point of time, I used to really resonate with that kind of music. I guess people listen to songs that they can relate to very often compared to those they cannot. When I got over that phase I no longer felt like listening to that music. As things got better in life, I shifted towards EDM and other sorts of music that would make me feel good.
So, the point is listen to songs that promote good feelings rather than depressive ones. Hope this helps.
