The NBA Finals 2016 were in my opinion the best NBA Finals that I have ever seen. There was a lot of tension coming up till the Finals. In the previous year, the Golden State Warriors were the NBA Champions and Steph Curry was the MVP of the regular season.
Now, Golden State Warriors had a very impressive regular season run with only 9 losses and 73 wins, the best record in NBA history. Coming to the playoffs, there was a lot of tension as to which team would win the championship.
LeBron was bombarded with pressure from all directions in the series. The Cavaliers were down 3-1 and no team had ever come back from a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals. LeBron James’s legacy was on the line and Steph’s popularity was sky high at that time. Media analysts, media spokesp
James actually put the team on his back and led the team to a finals win. This was his 3rd ring and the toughest one in terms of odds of winning the title.
