Metro Boomin has always been relevant. Since the last decade, he has collaborated with the likes of Future, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Swae Lee to name a few.
As of recent, some of his tracks have broken new barriers in success. Too Many Nights featuring Don Toliver and Future is one track that caught my attention and had me listening to it on repeat.
Song Meaning, Story and Review
As usual with a lot of songs in this genre, the artists tend to brag about their success which is usually quantified in terms of money, women, possessions and reckless partying.
Don is mainly giving us glimpses of his lifestyle which mostly revolves around clubbing late nights and spending gigantic amounts of money on women.
Being the artist that he is, he can afford his lavish lifestyle where in he gets what he wants all the time. He gives a little bit of background when he talks about going nameless on many nights.
He is implying that it was not always the same for him. Perhaps, he is indicating that there were times when hardly anyone knew him and he was a struggling artist.
Later on, he got famous and things changed for him. He became popular and he is living life as he wants to.
Future talks more or less the same thing. He talks about how he rose as a rapper and had money coming in to him in huge amounts. He feels proud of his accomplishments but is still looking out for more.
That was what the song was mainly about. Personally, I liked the beats and the overall vibe of the song is pretty cool.
