Mentality is very important part of our life. I guess you already know it. At times, we may not even know what is the correct mentality to have. What I mean by this is that some people think one must work hard or slog his way into life but, later we may even realize that even that itself might not be a correct approach to life. In this blog post, I will be talking about how my mindset changed over the years. This is my life experience and I hope you enjoy it. It is a small paragraph which talks about how I went from the mindset of getting a high paying job to actually becoming financially indepenent(getting the mindset of being financially independent, I am not financially independent as of now lol).
My experience
So, in the past 2 years I have changed a lot as a person. I changed my self image. I changed my beliefs, my way of thinking etc. I was undergoing a lot of turmoil back in 2018. After the start of 2019, there were major changes in my personality. I had a vision about my future. I did not know my passion in life, but I was determined to do something great in life. I gave the CAT exam and was aiming for the best college I could get which did not happen in future. I went to a college called Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune. Despite not having things gone my way, I was determined to make a great career for myself. I applied for internships, just so that I could gain work experience. I wanted to get a head start early in life. I tried for a few internships back at that time and I got selected for some of them, but I realized it wasn’t worth the effort. I tried for some others and they didn’t select me.
Luckily, I stumbled upon a course of digital marketing in Pune. I did the course and learnt about blogging. That is where I learnt about how I could earn a large amount of money through blogging and that is where the journey of this website began. Later, my mindset changed and I started to see jobs as a trap and how it was essential to follow your passion if you want to live the life of your dreams. So, I remeber earlier I used to think of being the CEO of a company taking decisions and now my goals went from there to becoming financially independent in a short period of time.
So, that was it for me, I focused on following my passion, doing what I love etc. I was like if this can work for other people why can’t it work for me. What I have realized about life is that chasing things is actually a very wrong approach to life. One must focus on the moment and try to live it in the best way possible. Trust the process because you might think that things are not going your way but in the long run it will be for your best interest.
