I think a lot of people by now would know how important detachment is in life. Detachment is what brings things into your existence. Detachment is what gives you power in life.
You see why does God say ‘Do your thing and let go of outcome’. It is because you think you do things in life but it is only through God’s will that you get what he wants to give you.
Detachment has been focused in the Bhagwad Gita and several times by numerous saints as well.
There are cases where in you will find that things get manifested when people detach from outcomes. A lot of times one tends to notice that results take place when a person lets go of things that are out of his control.
While, manifestation is an advantage of detachment, another important reason why detachment is important is because it is synonymous with the power you have in relationships.
You see if you are detached, then you will not have any problem letting go of toxic people. It is often seen that people who are needy tend to get taken advantage of and abused in relationships.
But, a detached person holds power because he or she can walk away from situations and people that no longer serve his or her best interests.
You cannot be manipulated when you are detached, because you have nothing of interest that can be used against you by anyone who intends to take advantage of you.
These are the main reasons why you must know how to detach from anything be it a situation, outcome, person or any other thing that you feel attached to.
