George Best is a football legend who played for Manchester United. He is considered to be one of the greatest football players ever.
George Best could have achieved a lot more if not for the reckless lifestyle that he created for himself. He was definitely amongst the most talented people to have ever played football. His dribbling skills in my opinion are what separate him from the rest of players. Very few players have ever had the kind of dribbling skills that he had and that too during the 1960s. He won the Ballon d’Or in 1968 ahead of Bobby Charlton and Franz Beckenbauer.
George never played the World Cup, if he did and by any means had Northern Ireland won he would have been solidified as a top 10 player of all time in my eyes. Regardless, his goals are incredible are really fun to watch.
George passed away in London on 25th November 2005 due to liver problems because of his excessive drinking habits at the age of 59.
