So, LeBron is considered by a lot of people as the greatest player of all time. I believe most people think of Michael Jordan to be the GOAT, however LeBron does have a strong case for it in his own right.
Personally, LeBron has been playing for a really long time since 2003 and most players are done by the time they reach his age. He managed to win a championship last year which was quite impressive for someone who was already 35 at that time and is currently 36 years old.
LeBron has been to the finals around 10 times in his entire career the first time being in 2007, then 2011-2018 and then in 2020 when he actually won his last championship unless you are reading into the future when he reaches another finals and wins another ring. But as of the time when this blog is written this is the status.
Now, honestly he has been knocked out of the playoffs before but he was quite young and we knew he was going to win a lot in future. However, this playoff it might be a different scenario. He is 36 years old and he has been knocked out in the first round by the Phoenix Suns who had Devin Booker and Chris Paul. Some people might argue that the result would have been different had Anthony Davis been healthy.
But to be honest I think we might be witnessing the end of the LeBron James’s era. It could happen that he might recruit some players like Damian Lillard to win the title next year but it seems that his best days are behind him.
I don’t think he is going to retire though. I believe he wants to witness him and his son to be in the NBA together so he could stay on for a few more years but I don’t think he is going to win another championship in the future. Lets see what happens.
Skip Bayless has a lot to say about LeBron James and so does Stephen A Smith. Meanwhile I don’t know what Oprahside is feeling about it.
